Story

For the Community Impact project for Warwick Africa Summit 2024/25, we have collaborated with Self Help Africa - we aim to raise a minimum of £2000 to support their mission.

Self Help Africa is a charity focused on tackling long-term poverty and hunger in rural Africa by empowering communities to achieve self-sufficiency through agriculture and enterprise. They have a commitment to enabling communities to access the knowledge, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive, create lasting change, sustainable livelihoods and break the cycle of poverty.

Some of their recent projects include improving irrigation systems in Ethiopia, training women in Uganda to establish savings and loans groups, and helping farmers in Zambia diversify crops to adapt to climate change.

Your support could make a real and tangible difference in the lives of many in different communities across Africa! We appreciate any donations you are able to make. Thank you for your support in our mission – let's work together to create sustainable and long-lasting change!
