Story
Both of my Grandparents, Henry Ginder and Hazel where diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Parkinson’s uk charity do so much for people with this disease so I think it’s really important that I give something back as a nod to them and there incredibly important work.
So on Saturday the 1st of June at 12 noon I’ll be setting of on a point-to-point event starting at Exeter St David's Railway station and finishing some 253 miles later at London Marylebone. I’m aiming to complete the event within 24 hours I’ll be cycling throughout the night and as daunting that is I’m really looking forward seeing the sun set and sun rise a complete first time experience for me. Also the roads will be a little bit quieter so that will be nice.
The event is called an Audax and this one is X-rated! meaning that there are no officially manned check points, no signposting, no feed stops. So basically it’s all down to me. I’ll have to navigate the route and stop at Wells, Durrington, Cirencester and Buckingham where I’ll consume energy food and also get receipts so I’ll be able to prove my way of passage.
I’d really appreciate if you can support me by donating anything you can to help this worthy cause.
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
