Story

In 2017, Hospice at Home (H@H) started our Raad Ny Foilan Challenge walks to support the incredible palliative care nurses employed by Hospice, Isle of Man. Over the past six years, we have organized a further three successful RNF Challenges, hiking around the Isle of Man. Now we are ready for a new adventure.

Introducing the Warden's Walks - thirteen captivating trails that will take us through breathtaking landscapes and test our endurance. From easy muscle loosener walks to moderate muscle stretcher hikes and strenuous muscle builder treks, there is something for everyone. The distances range from 4kms to 17kms, ensuring that each participant can find a walk that suits their fitness level.

Full details of the Warden's Walks are on the IOM DEFA website, here>

We have planned these walks to take place on the last Sunday of each month, starting at 10am. Our leaders will guide us through each trail, ensuring our safety and providing valuable insights along the way. The full programme of the walks is on the H@H website.

The first walk will be Ballaglass, on 3 March, starting at the Ballaglass parking area at 10am.

After each walk we generally have lunch at the nearest pub to share stories of the day, have a coffee (or a beer!) and relax.

But we need your support to make this endeavor a success! Our goal is to raise £10,000 for Hospice at Home Isle of Man. With your generous contributions, we can continue providing essential care and support to those in need.

Join us on this incredible journey as we explore the wonders of the Isle of Man while making a difference in people's lives. Together, let's create a brighter future for those who rely on Hospice, Isle of Man.
