Story

Posse’s work is more significant today than ever before, given the recent Supreme Court decision to end race-based affirmative action in higher education admissions. Yes, the majority of Posse Scholars are students of color, many of them are first generation and with significant need, but Posse does not screen for these things. In fact, Posse is the only race-neutral, national college scholarship program focused on addressing issues of diversity, equity and inclusion that is completely strength and merit based. Posse was inspired by a student who said he never would have dropped out of college if he'd had his posse with him. The simple idea: send a team (a Posse) of diverse students together to college and set them up for success. Since 1989, Posse has supported 13,000 students nationwide in winning $2 billion in scholarships from Posse's partner colleges - with a 90% graduation rate! I fully believe in the Posse movement, and I ask you to join me in supporting the leaders of tomorrow.

About the charity
