Walk of Hope is our annual national event raising money to bring hope to brain tumour patients and their families. It will take place on Saturday 28th September 2024, or you can organise your own Walk of Hope any day in September that suits you.

Story

We are a dedicated group of researchers from the Brain Tumour Research Centre of Excellence at Queen Mary University of London, sharing a common goal: advancing the fight against brain tumours.

On September 29th, our team will step out of the lab and hit the ground. Each of us will walk 5 km to raise vital funds for brain tumour research. Brain tumours are one of the most challenging forms of cancer to treat and kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer.

By supporting our walk, you are contributing to help find a cure for brain tumours. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to breakthroughs that could change the future for those affected by brain tumours.

Join us in making a difference. Together, we can walk strong toward a cure. Thank you for your support!

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
