Fundraising for Teenage Cancer Trust
In memory of my dear sister Amber Fernley, who passed away from cancer at the age of 17, seven years ago, I will be taking on a 66 mile walk from Shrewsbury to Prestwich, Manchester on 29 March 2025. This walk is my tribute to her life and a stand with those young adults and children who are fighting cancer today.
Amber was cared for by the Christies during her brave two-year fight against cancer. Her strength in the face of unimaginable hardship has inspired me to take on this challenge. I will be walking continuously for over 12 hours, and every step will be a tribute to the love, courage and resilience that defined her life.
The Teenage Cancer Trust is a truly remarkable organisation that offers vital support to young people facing cancer. The cause is close to my heart as I know firsthand the pain and challenges that families endure when losing their young children to this cruel disease. The work of Teenage Cancer Trust brings hope and care to those who need it most, making an enormous difference at a time when it is desperately needed.
I humbly ask for your support and generosity. Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a real difference in the lives of families going through the same struggles that mine did. Please join me in honouring Amber's memory and helping to provide comfort and hope for those facing this devastating battle. Thank you for standing with us in this noble cause.
