Story
I’m taking part in Walk for Peddars to help create a space where people can find peace and comfort during one of the most challenging times of their lives. The Peddars Way Unit at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn is being designed to offer a dignified, serene environment for patients in their final days.
While I don’t have any personal connections to those who need this space right now, working at the hospital, I see how crucial it is to have a place that feels more like a sanctuary than a hospital room. This unit will be a haven where families can be together, where care feels personal and kind, and where every detail is chosen with love and respect.
Your support will help us add those extra touches—a comfortable chair for a family member, soothing lighting, or a view of something beautiful—that make all the difference. Together, we can ensure the Peddars Way Unit becomes a space filled with warmth, care, and compassion, offering comfort when it’s needed most.
