Story

Amanda and I are supporting the incredible small charity that is dear to our hearts due to the trustees that are putting young carers first.

It is estimated that there are about 800,000 young carers in the UK. Being a young carer often means looking after a family member who is disabled, chronically ill or has a mental health condition. 27% of young carers aged 5-18 regularly miss time at school. These carers are often required to grow up far too early which can lead to them missing out on some of the same opportunities as other children. Many of these young carers are not only losing their childhood but they are all too often victims of bullying and exclusion which sadly, could in turn have a negative impact on their lives.

By supporting this non-profit charity, you will make a real difference to the lives of those young carers. Please get involved and raise money for a great cause and a great activity!
