Story
In July Dan Armstrong, Andrew Davidson, Rob and Tom Kirkup will be taking on the most difficult walk in the North York Moors National Park.
In one day we attempt the "Esk Valley Walk 1" which is 17 miles in length and will see us ascend over 1500 feet during the route. The North York Moors website describes the route as "difficult" and goes on to say "You have to be up for a challenge to tackle our most strenuous moorland walk".
The four of us are walking in the memory of our much missed friend John. He lost his own personal battle with cancer in 2017. He was just 34 years old.
This will be the eight annual walk we have taken on, and this might the most difficult challenge we've faced so far. Across the previous seven walks we have raised almost £10,000 and hope to smash through that figure this year.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for whatever you can afford to sponsor us. All money goes directly from JustGiving to Cancer Research UK.
