This is the 3rd time I have entered this event over the last few years. For our team it will be driving 1600 miles through France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France again and down to Barcelona in Spain. The challenge is quite simple. Obtain an old banger for around £400 and get from northern France, over the Alps and down to Barcelona in just 4 days. Last year We turned our car into a Lifeboat and raised £1500 for the RNLI. This year, the 80th anniversary of the Dam Busters raid, we are turning our car into a Lancaster with some special features on top. Our target is £10,000,

so pretty daunting, but nothing like what the young aircrews experienced 80 years ago.
