About Our CANstructure:
The Good The Bad and The Hungry
In Dallas Texas, VLK Architects embark on a mission to end hunger in the city. Forming an alliance with local activists, they pool their resources and expertise to tackle the crisis. Together, they secure the essential funds and resources needed to CANstruct an impressive western scene made entirely of food cans. The display features vibrant bluebonnets, resilient cacti, majestic mountains, and an emblematic longhorn skull, all intricately designed to capture the essence of the Texan landscape. The design intent is to highlight the beauty of the region and serves as a powerful reminder of the community’s strength and unity in addressing hunger.
