The Visit Cheshire Tourism Awards recognise the excellence and outstanding achievements of local businesses and individuals working in Cheshire’s visitor economy. The glittering event will take place on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at the stunning Walton Hall and Gardens in Warrington.

Now in its 20th year, the Visit Cheshire Tourism Awards encompass 18 categories, ranging from accommodation and attractions to events, dining and people. The awards not only celebrate the achievements of local businesses but also serve as a benchmark for excellence in the tourism industry.

The team have selected Warrington Disability Partnership as their chosen charity beneficiary for the awards event. Internationally renown Warrington Disability Partnership (WDP) is a user-led charity with 35 years’ experience of supporting disabled people and those living with long-term health conditions.

The team of nearly 50 staff and 200 volunteers deliver 27 mobility and independent living services. In addition, they play a key role in the community working with the business, public and voluntary sectors on all disability matters including access auditing and staff training.

On the 12th of July 2026, the 35th annual Disability Awareness Day will be held at Walton Hall & Gardens. Attracting over 20,000 visitors, the tented village will house an exhibition featuring around 200 exhibitors and dozens of activities.
