Story

Shooting Star Children's Hospices supports babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families across west London and Surrey.

Whether lives are measured in days, weeks, months or years, we are here to make every moment count. We support families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.

In 2018 Vikki’s wonderful niece was born with Undiagnosed neuro muscular. She spent the first 2 years of her life battling in peadiaxteic intensive care before starting her life at home with her mummy, daddy and 4 brothers. Vikki’s brother is Frances daddy. Frances is ventilated but very much is doing amazing in life and thriving in every which way thanks to her families amazing love and support. Shooting stars have enabled Frances and her family to enjoy days out at places like Lego land. They even funded and took Frances elder brother tyler on a sailing holiday. These kind of things help more than you can imagine.
