Story
We will be walking in memory of our twins and triplets and remembering them throughout the day.
Footprints Baby Loss understand the value of having a safe space to be able to communicate with someone who has been through something similar, and aim to provide a kind, caring and inclusive approach with their bereavement services. Their support is provided by those who have had first hand experience of twin or triplet loss.
I have the honour once again to volunteer with this amazing new charity as a Befriender.
I will be walking in memory of my identical twins girls who I lost at 16 weeks. I will also be remembering my 6 little shining stars, who I also lost through miscarriages.
Thank you so much for supporting Footprints Baby Loss charity in its inaugural fundraising event, to enable this new charity to provide vital support to bereaved families of twins or triplets, as we know from experience, is much needed.
The trek will start in Bushy Park. After walking through your first Royal Park - Bushy Park - we'll then follow the River Thames to Richmond Park. The route takes us straight across historic parkland and beautiful green spaces before we cross the river again and head into Chelsea. Little known Brompton Cemetery is our next Royal Park before we reach the beautiful Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. Continuing on through Green Park we pass the iconic Buckingham Palace and reach St James's Park, our seventh Royal Park. We make our way to historic Westminster and Victoria Tower Gardens before heading north to our ninth Royal Park, Regent's Park. With just one more Royal Park to reach we head east before crossing the river to reach our final destination Greenwich Park.
