Both myself and Ffion work within MSK department at Morriston hospital. Ffion is a ward manager in elective surgery and Victoria a trainee ANP. MSK is an extremely busy directorate with many patients being of high acuity with complex needs. This often means it can be a stressful environment to work in.

There is currently no facilities available to the staff within MSK to destress and relax on breaktimes. Our aim is to raise funds to enable an outdoors wellbeing area to be developed in the courtyard by Ward A and Ward B and ward W and Clydach. This would include a small covered area, tables and chairs and planters. We feel that this would benefit the wellbeing and mental health of staff members within the MSK directorate.

We are participating in the Swansea Bay half marathon 11th June 2023. Any donation towards creating this space would be greatly appreciated by all.
