This year I am taking on the Great North Run for Saint Catherine's Hospice.

I have chosen this charity as they offer an invaluable service to patients and their families and they rely heavily on the donations they receive. I know they help so many people in many different ways in times of need.

Our family have experienced their amazing care first hand and it is important that we can give something back, so others in the community can benefit from the amazing work they do. Every penny you can give counts and helps them to continue the fantastic work they do!

Saint Catherine's provide care to people across a 1,600 square mile area in our local community and need to raise £11,200 every single day, £6.1 million a year, to provide their care free of charge to those who need it.
