My STEPtember Challenge

Fundraising for University Hospitals Birmingham Charity
£20
raised of £100 target
You have the whole of September to take 250,000 steps and raise vital funds to transform children’s outpatients’ departments into a bright, colourful, and child-friendly environment, making it more engaging and less scary for children.

Story

Hospitals can be a scary place for children. That is why I am taking part in STEPtember 2024.

During September I will be walking 250,000 steps in support of the Children's Appeal.

The Children's Appeal supports the children's departments across the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Heartlands Hospital, Good Hope Hospital and Solihull Hospital.

The money raised during STEPtember will be used to provide a safe, welcoming, and more child-friendly space for the tens of thousands of children who are treated as outpatients every year.

About the charity

University Hospitals Birmingham Charity supports four hospitals in Birmingham - Queen Elizabeth, Heartlands, Good Hope, and Solihull. We support the patients, families and staff at our hospitals by providing 'added extras' that are over and above those which are provided by the NHS.
