Story

This year I have been blessed with an amazing opportunity to take part in the Great North Run. I will be running this race in honour of my late father in law David Milner whilst fundraising for a fantastic charity Saint Catherine’s.

Following my father in laws prognosis it was his wish to spend his remaining time at home supported by his much loved wife Jenni and his three children Duncan, Alastair and Alexander.

Saint Catherine’s were an integral part of the care team that cared for Dave in his final weeks. The carers were always very professional, empathetic, understanding and always brought a smile with them on every visit. The service that was provided by Saint Catherine’s meant that Dave’s wish to remain at home with his family was fulfilled.

We will be forever thankful for the care and support Saint Catherines delivered, during such a difficult time and we will hold this charity close to our hearts.

Best Wishes

💕 The Milner’s 💕

Saint Catherine's provide care to people across a 1,600 square mile area in our local community and need to raise £11,200 every single day, £6.1million a year, to provide their care free of charge to those who need it.

Thank you to everyone who donates to my fundraising page, together we can make a real difference for those in our area living with a terminal illness.
