Story
Update: I have been raising money for the children's services for Cheshire Without Abuse, however, in early January the council has pulled ALL funding for CWA so now all money raised here will be to keep their service running to save lives, not just in Cheshire but across the UK.
In April I will be dragging a 40kg sled 88-kilometres across the Arctic Circle in temperatures as low as -26°C to raise money for them.
Despite never having been to the Arctic (and being rubbish at skiing!), I'm determined to raise £5000 to help keep CWA crisis centres, survivor support and their 24 hour helpline open.
The training has been canny brutal but I'm working my bum off so I hopefully won't get lost in a whiteout or ski off a mountain. I'm trudging around Macclesfield wearing a 10kg weights vest while pulling a 30kg tyre I've nicknamed Tyrelor Swift. I'm already on my FIFTH pair of boots 😬
MyCWA was there when I needed them most. Now it's my turn to give back and ensure these vital services continue for others who need them.
Your donation, no matter how small, helps provide hope and healing to children who need it most. Every single penny will be spent helping those in need.
Thank you for your support,
