I have ridden with Wilton RDA, on and off. for over 35 years. Initially it was recommended as physiotherapy to help me with cerebral palsy but it has given me so much more over the years.

Wilton RDA is a fabulous organisation who have provided me with the opportunity to do something I really love to do, riding. Despite my cerebral palsy and uncontrolled epilepsy they are able to offer me a safe and challenging environment that match my needs. Wednesday morning at Wilton RDA with Claire and the rest of the brilliant team is the highlight of my week.

As well as being a fantastic escape from dealing with my health issues it also provides me with opportunities to compete within RDA riding events. I have been a regular competitor at Regional and National events for the last 12 years, last year I was 2nd in my class in the RDA National Dressage Championship.

It has been a huge privilege to be asked to be an Ambassador for Wilton RDA and this together with opportunities to act as a mentor for other, less experienced, riders gives me a real sense of giving something back.
