This is a charity that is very close to my heart so I am delighted to be able to raise money for them spending the day (hopefully just the daylight bits) walking 42km in one of the most beautiful places with 6 of my lovely friends (and a few hundred other people). We’d be so pleased to have your support in exchange for which I promise never to tell you any details about blisters/chafing/bruises/strains/sprains/other minor injuries accrued in the course of either my ‘training’ or the walk itself.

Each year Cancer Focus NI supports 6,000 cancer patients, their families and carers across NI.

As a local charity they are 90% dependent on fundraising.

Jan, Jo, Ally, Thuy, Anna, Anya and I are raising money by taking part in the Causeway Coast Marathon (but the walking version) taking in 26.2 miles of dramatic North Coast scenery (including the Giant’s Causeway) and, no doubt, a fair bit of rain too.
