Story

Barton Legal, represented by Vicky, Katie and Ali, are taking part in Simon's Big Sleepout 2024 on the evening of 10 October 2024 to raise awareness of the invaluable work carried out by Simon on the Streets. They, together with many of Simon on the Streets’ other 5 in 5 partners and fundraisers are sleeping out in Leeds to support this wonderful charity.

Simon on the Streets supports anyone who is or is at risk of being homeless in Leeds, but it relies entirely on donations and fundraising to provide its services. The people they work with are often hidden and isolated.

Being an independent charity, they can provide unlimited support for as long as a person needs it. This includes support around accessing accommodation, linking into primary healthcare for physical and mental health, or working with addiction services and trauma informed care specialists.

Simon on the Streets understands that every person facing homelessness has different needs and that it takes time to create a real change. They aim to provide person-centred support to help individuals achieve their goals, however long that may take. Simon on the Streets understands that emotional support is invaluable and that it helps to underpin any practical support given.

Thank you for your kind donation towards the Simon's Big Sleepout Event 2024 and the positive impact that this will have on the many people Simon on the Streets supports.
