Story
Myself and Husband Paul are taking part in the Mighty Hike - half marathon in Bakewell on 2th July hoping to raise as much money as we can.
The half marathon is estimated to take between 4/6 hours we are hoping to complete in 4.5 hours!
I lost my Nana to breast cancer and stomach cancer May 2007 and we lost my Grandad to prostate cancer February 2023.
Both are greatly missed
Thank You for your help :)
We look forward to participating in many fundraising activities and events over the next two years to raise as much money as possible for people affected by cancer and help make a difference to those who need it most.
There are now more than three million people with cancer in the UK. That means millions of lives have been turned upside down in thousands of different ways. Macmillan supports people, whether that is lending an ear, trying to find better ways to help people with cancer or helping to bring forward the day when everyone gets life-transforming support from day one.
Macmillan is a national charity, but their impact can be seen locally. They are in our hospitals and in the community. Macmillan is doing whatever it takes, but without your help, they can’t support everyone who needs it.
