I met Navjot, the Founder of the Washing Machine Project in 2022 and after hearing about and seeing the impact of the Foundation, I was deeply touched and moved.

They exist to provide the dignity of clean clothes to everyone, giving displaced and low-income communities an accessible, off-grid washing solution. Without this, women and young girls often spend hours everyday washing their clothes by hand; preventing them from access to education and work. With the manual washing machine, over 21,000 lives have been positively impacted so far, saving 50% of water across 15 countries.
