We're creating a better world for people who stammer.

As the Communities & Campaigns Manager and known as being as competitive as it gets, of course I'm lacing up my running shoes in June and taking part in It's How We Walk. With a goal of running 200km in June. Wish me luck, my last run was in January, I better get training... 🤞

STAMMA means a great deal to me. With the services we provide you wouldn't think we are a tiny organisation, only 12 members of staff, only a handful full-time. And we couldn't do it without our amazing volunteers.

We offer helpline and webchat, which is not only available to those who stammer in crisis, we also advice parents and teachers, friends and family, and you can use the helpline as a person who stammer to practice for a job interview, your upcoming speech as a best man - we're here to listen!

We offer employment services, training for companies to become more stammering-friendly, and an advocacy service if you've been treated poorly or unfairly because of your stammer.
