Story
Vaughan turns 18 on 25th November and he wanted to do something to raise money for a charity. So, he has decided to spar 50 people in one afternoon.
Vaughan, since the age of about 11, has been a member of Matt Hudd’s Martial Arts Club. He is now a black belt in kick boxing and coaches for Matt in some of the classes. Vaughan loves martial arts.
He has chosen to raise funds for St Michael’s hospice, as he recognises the important, vital work that they do. So any amount you can donate, will be really appreciated.
The Hospice multi-disciplinary team includes doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, complementary therapists, social workers, chaplains and counsellors. These specialist Hospice staff work together and often in partnership with the NHS to relieve patients’ symptoms, control their pain and help them to live well until the end of life. It is vital that everyone that needs it has the appropriate care and support they need to cope with the complex feelings and lifestyle changes caused by a terminal illness.
