Keep Calm and Channel On!
UPDATE -
We did it! Landing on Cap Griz Nez in a time of 15h04 (to be ratified).
I am swimming the English Channel in a relay with Nicole, Kate and Bill. We will swim from Dover to France as a team wearing only a costume, hat and goggles in temperatures of about 16 degrees, with jellyfish for company. We have trained hard and we are ready!
I would like to take this amazing opportunity and challenge to raise money for a very import campaign which is close to my heart: the Little Breaths Campaign.
I am a consultant anaesthetist at Croydon University Hospital and am regularly involved in caring for sick children who need intensive care. Every year in Croydon about 70 children require ventilation to help them breathe, and to recover from their serious illness. The Little Breaths campaign is to raise the funds for two new paediatric ventilators. Please see this link for Mason’s story.
I would be truly grateful for any donations to support this important cause, thank you!
