Story
As I prepare to participate in the London Marathon on April 26, 2026, I am reaching out to you. My goal is to raise £3500 for the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
Why £3500? That’s the cost of one rescue mission!
On 7th October 2015 the Hampshire & IOW Air Ambulance flew our son, Felix, to University Hospital Southampton where he received lifesaving medical treatment. Ten years on we are still eternally thankful to them.
Your support will not only help sustain our operations but also ensure that they can continue to be there for those who need us most. Together, we can make a difference and save lives.
At the heart of our community, the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance stands ready to respond when every second counts. Our highly skilled teams of Doctors, Paramedics, and Pilots are dedicated to bringing advanced critical care directly to those in need across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. With your support, we can ensure that these heroes are at the scene of an incident within minutes, providing life-saving assistance when it matters most.
However, maintaining this vital service comes at a significant cost. It currently requires over £17,750 a day to keep our Air Ambulance flying and saving lives. This is only possible through the incredible generosity of our communities. We are deeply grateful for every contribution that helps us continue this essential work.
