Surrey 5 Peaks Hikeathon - 2023 · 16 September 2023 ·

We are incredibly grateful to our 2023 walkers, who will take on part in either a 13-mile or 26-mile Hikeathon. Their support enables us to continue to support vulnerable and disadvantaged young people & families across Surrey.

Story

This year marks my dear brother Sukh's 20th anniversary. The loss & pain we still feel is with us every day but to honour his memory I am going to take on this amazing challenge for such a great charity.

Sukh was always a fighter in great spirit and would never back down from anything and me being just as competitive as him I am also not going to back down.

This is a great physical challenge for my last year in my forties and i am so looking forward to supporting The Surrey Care Trust.

Taking on the Surrey 5 Peaks Hikeathon will enable me to help support vulnerable young people, adults and families in order to improve their lives. Surrey Care Trust supports vulnerable and disadvantaged people across Surrey who are struggling with a wide range of issues including poor mental health, isolation, education, and unemployment.

The work they do is critical in making sure that these people are able to live fulfilling lives.

If you can donate i will greatly appreciate all your support.

Love Val xxx
