Story
As our chosen charity for the year, we wanted to organise this tandem jump to raise as much money as we possibly can for this fantastic charity here in Buckinghamshire.
A dear friend of ours who suffers from MS benefits greatly from the services available, and we are keen to support them so that he and others can continue to receive regular relief from the painful symptoms of MS.
They keep their overheads low and benefit the local community, see below for examples of how donations are spent
Join Gerard Horrigan, Mark Birch and Phil Drye as we take to the skies on September 8th. We have fully self-funded the jump, ensuring that 100% of what is raised goes to the charity!
From £1 to £100 or more, here are some of the ways you can make a difference and empower people affected by MS, Parkinson's and those who have experienced a stroke to live happier and healthier lives.
£2 could pay for tea and cake that can help someone who feels isolated to open up to others in our friendly and supportive environment.
£5 could pay for materials for our hand therapy class helping someone to ease the stiffness in their hands so they can continue to do everyday tasks we take for granted, like brushing their teeth.
£7 could pay for an exercise class to help a grandparent maintain their fitness so they can continue to enjoy time playing with their grandchildren
£20 could pay for time with our occupational therapist so a parent can understand and manage their fatigue to enable then to keep walking their children to school.
£30 could pay for oxygen for a day, helping up to 20 people to feel more energised to do something that they love, like walking their dog.
