9 of us have been busy training for the Valencia marathon on 1st Dec; some taking on their first 26miler, others trying for a new PB.

Unfortunately in recent weeks the Andalusian coast has been devastated by the worst flooding to happen in Spain for several decades. In many communities, a year's worth of rain fell in a single day.

People are now in urgent need of shelter, food, clean water, and medical assistance. As they work to recover, the need for support is critical to help those affected rebuild their lives and livelihoods.

We thought it right to try and raise some much needed money to help those in need;

All donations to this fund will help flood survivors throughout affected communities in Spain. These efforts will be led by GlobalGiving's network of vetted partners. Initially, the fund will help meet survivors' immediate needs for food, fuel, clean water, hygiene products, and shelter.
