Sudan is facing the largest displacement crisis in the world.

Since April 2023, ongoing conflicts have uprooted over 10 million individuals from their homes, with thousands seeking refuge in neighboring countries, putting their safety at risk. Right now, more than 17 million people are severely food insecure across Sudan.

In response, IDRF is providing critical food aid to hundreds of families in Sudan. This initiative is partnered with the University of Waterloo Orphan Sponsorship Program. The goal of this project is to supply essential nutrition to displaced families and children living on the outskirts of Khartoum.  

Each food parcel distributed is enough to sustain a family for at least one month. However, the people of Sudan urgently require our support now more than ever.
