I'm abseiling down the Spinnaker Tower for Brain Tumour Research to help find a cure because one in three people know someone affected by this devastating disease.

Story

Another lot of our girls are abseiling the Spinnaker Tower on Saturday 22nd April! We would love for as much support on the day as possible and any donations are thoroughly appreciated.

“Hi! I’m Ellen, a 2nd year Fashion and Textiles student! I’m super excited to be taking part in this abseil, as it’s a super exciting fundraiser for such an amazing charity! I’m quite nervous but also very excited for the challenge!🥰xx”

“Hey, My name is Ellie. I am a first year student studying criminology and criminal justice at Portsmouth. This is my first year on dance and I’m so excited to be raising money for such a good cause with my wonderful friends. I can’t wait to take on this challenge for such an amazing charity.”

“Hey my name's Molly, I'm a third year marine biology student and this is my third year on dance. I'm super excited to be taking part in this abseil and looking forward to taking on this challenge for such an important cause x”

“Hiya, I’m Emily. I’m in my final year at Portsmouth university doing Forensic Psychology. I love doing charity work so I’m super happy to be raising money for charity for abseiling, which I know will be super fun but scary, which I can’t wait for as I’m an adrenaline junky🤪 xx”

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!
