We provide expert care and support to young people with cancer

Story

A few weeks ago we learned that our Abu Dhabi queen, Eleni, has been diagnosed with stage 4 bone cancer. What we thought was an old rugby injury, was actually a sarcoma on her shoulder, a rare type of cancer. She is undergoing intense treatment but unfortunately the cancer is not curable.

We are so so so unbelievably proud of this girl and admire her continuous positive attitude! Each and every one of us at the club send our love and support to Eleni and her family and everyone who has been affected by Eleni’s diagnosis❤️

Eleni is being looked after by the amazing teenage cancer trust down in Southampton. This is a charity run purely off donations which provides hospital units, cancer specialists and amazing care for those affected by cancer. Sooooooo, women’s rugby league want to raise as much money as we can for them 🤩

SPORTS DAY!

On the 9th of December at wyncote sports ground we are hosting a sports day in aid of the teenage cancer trust. We will have a few races between teams to win prizes and have some fun while raising money! There will be a bake sale, crepe van, drinks stall and more!

If you want to bake something for the bake sale please do🙃 and if you know any company ext that can support with providing things for the day get in touch! More info will be provided in coming days..

Any teams or individuals interested in taking part give us a message!

Let’s raise as much money as we can so Eleni can get the best support possible❤️
