The Abby’s heroes support workers, Kirsten and Michela, along with a team of family and friends are taking on the dragon boat race and going for GOLD!!

Every day we have the privilege of working along side the families that Abby’s Heroes directly support and see the impact the charity has on their childhood cancer journeys.

Every year, having discovered the news that their child has been diagnosed with cancer, families enter either the Piam Brown Ward for 0-16yr olds, or the TYA Teenage and Young Adults Ward 16-24yrs at UHS University Hospital Southampton.

The whole ethos of Abby's Heroes is to place our arm around the shoulders of these families and support them during this journey. We offer Financial Grants to help with the financial burden of having your child diagnosed, Practical support, Memory Making grants, Welfare Packs, Counselling service for the entire family, as well as pizza and a picnic lunch every week. Every single penny is vital to help Abby's Heroes provide these services.
