Story

During 2022, 2 players from Kings Norton RFC were diagnosed with aggressive forms of cancer. Oliver Simms who plays for the u15’s and Chloe Gilmore who plays for the woman’s team have both successfully beaten their own cancer battles after a tough year. Oliver’s dad Gavin and Chloe are both police officers who work on the Operations Support Unit (OSU) part of West Midlands Police. On Sunday 4th June Officers from the OSU are attempting the National 3 Peak challenge in order to raise funds for Oliver and Chloe’s nominated charity, Teenage Cancer Trust.
