Story
Hello again…year 5 of this journey and I can’t thank everyone enough who have supported any of the 4 previous years that I have participated in this amazing event and cause. Once again, I am reaching out to you asking to support my fundraising efforts in eradicating cancer. Sadly, we need to keep raising money as we have not reached our goal of eradicating (childhood) cancer. We have however made great strides and are really making a difference! I am excited to be asked to participate in a tremendously worthy cause through the MACC Fund and their ‘RINGER’ campaign.
Cancer sucks. End of story. Unfortunately, all of us have likely been affected by it in our lives. The MACC Fund is focused on fighting childhood cancer and related blood disorders by providing critical funding for research of cures and treatments and is making a big difference. The RINGER event is one of their largest fundraisers where they ask 24 people to play 100 holes of golf in one day at The Bog in Saukville, WI to raise awareness and funds. Last year we collectively raised over $200,000! I also plan to use the day to reflect on how fortunate I am to have the ability to do this and what is important in my life, as well as how lucky I am to be surrounded by such great family and friends.
The event is May 1, 2025 , and my goal is to raise $15,000 to further the cause of eradicating childhood cancer and related blood disorders. If you can support this cause or pass it along to someone who may want to, it would be greatly appreciated. Understanding that there are many great and worthy causes out there, if you can’t support this one I hope that you too can take some time to reflect on what is important and support a cause that is meaningful to you.

The MACC Fund is a 501c3 located in Milwaukee, WI whose mission is to find a CURE for childhood cancer and related blood disorders by providing funding for research. The MACC Fund is unique in the childhood cancer space, in that their sole purpose and focus is to fund research to find a CURE. No trips to Disney, no individual medical bills; strictly funding research to find a CURE!
Your generous support of my participation WILL play a vital role in finding a cure, and saving kids' lives. In 1976 when the MACC Fund was founded, 20% of kids survived. Today, that survival number is nearly 85% thanks to generous donors like YOU!!!
Thank you for supporting me and the MACC Fund in the fight against childhood cancer and related blood disorders! #HopeForKids
