Hey everyone,

On the 3rd of August 2024, I will be running 30 km along the old Deeside Railway in honour of Finlay Herrington who tragically passed way in December 2023 from a ruptured spleen caused by Epstein-Barr virus (EBV).

The money raised for the F.A.I.R charity will be used to fund a research project looking into autoimmune conditions in Finlay’s name.

This fundraiser means so much to me because of my relationship with my best friend Eva and her family and how they were severely impacted by Finlay’s death.

Finlay’s love for sport and outdoors is very similar to mine and as that is something we both shared, running this 30km to raise money is a way in which support can be shown to the Herrington family.
