An innovative community partnership between McCormick Care Foundation and Fanshawe College's Recreation and Leisure Services raising funds to advance excellence in dementia and senior care in our community and beyond.

Story

As part of the Recreation and Leisure program at Fanshawe the first and second years are running a fundraising event for the McCormick Home Foundation.

McCormick's is a retirement home that specials in the care of residents living with Alzheimer's and Dementia and all the donations go towards the McCormick Home foundation.

Established in 1984 and governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, the McCormick Care Foundation is the fundraising arm of the McCormick Care Group, the governing organization of McCormick Home, McCormick Dementia Services, and McCormick Dementia Research. We’re on a mission to enhance care and enrich the lives of McCormick clients, residents, and families. By working together with our partners in the community, we can support innovations that will advance long-term and dementia care in our community and beyond.
