This October we will be running the Leicester Half Marathon for Open Hands who go the extra mile for people in need in Leicester!

Open Hands are a wonderful charity that we here at The Winstanley School support yearly and work closely with to help them in providing support to those in our community and more.

Open Hands Trust are a local charity who aim to meet the practical needs of people in need and then support them through a journey of responsibility towards independence and employment. Every week Open Hands receive hundreds of visits to their Compassion Centre where they provide emergency food, clothing, and furniture, along with English classes and a range of skills and mentoring classes. All money raised will help continue their amazing work!
