Through this project, I will make donations to two organisations researching cures for cancer - The Brain Tumour Charity and The Japanese Foundation for Cancer Research - based on the distance I cycle to the north, east, south and west points of each of Japan's four main islands.

I hope you will join me in this effort to raise funds for the Brain Tumour Charity - an organisation at the forefront of research to beat the cause of death of both my father and my sister.

My planned route is approximately 7500km. Before I start on 02 May 2024, I will make an initial donation of 10 Japanese yen (approximately 5p) to each organisation for every kilometre in the plan. At the end I will adjust for any excess distance covered.
