Canine Genetics Research
Campaign by University of Cambridge (RCN HMRC Registered)
The Canine Genetics Research team in the Department of Veterinary Medicine is passionate about investigating inherited diseases in dogs.

Story

Tweed & Demi were both young golden retrievers who died way too young from Kidney Dysplasia. They gave so much in their short lives, Tweed as a Trauma Support Dog & Demi as a trainee Assistance Dog. In their memories, & with the support of the Kennel Club, we are fund raising to support research into Kidney Dysplasia in Golden Retrievers in the hope that ia cause can be found & a test identified to prevent more puppies suffering in the future.

The Canine Genetics Research team in the Department of Veterinary Medicine, led by Dr Cathryn Mellersh, is passionate about investigating inherited diseases in dogs. Donations are used to support ongoing and future research to improve the health of future generations of dogs.
