Story
In 2024 our intrepid team of Managing Director Jon Seal and Technical Director Adam Case will be taking on the Cycle to MIPIM in support of Club Peloton. The cycle is a 1,500 km week long challenge to cycle from London to Cannes, ahead of the MIPIM Cannes conference, starting on March 12th.
Club Peloton (clubpeloton.org) is the charity and real estate cycling community transforming the lives of young people. Since 2006, it has given £4.5 million in grants to projects that make a real difference. Cycle to MIPIM is Club Peloton's original endurance fundraising ride that brings together cyclists of all abilities to ride, network and fundraise. Every year, riders from across the property industry complete the 1,438km challenge from London to Cannes, arriving in time for MIPIM, the leading international real estate fair.
For the 2024 event the charity projects that Club Peloton are supporting are:
Coram Adoption - Who help recruit families for 1150 children waiting longer than 18 months to find adoptive homes and help 500 families with post adoption support.
Cyclists Fighting Cancer - Helping to award 800 bikes, tandems and adapted trikes to children and young people affected by cancer. They also support research to illustrate the relationship between physical and mental well-being and physical activity in children surviving cancer.
Tom ap Rhys Pryce Memorial Trust - Supporting 18 amazing projects to tackle the root causes of violent street crime.
The cycle will see our team embark on a 7 day ride from London to Cannes to arrive in time for the MIPIM 2024 event. The ride will go via the Garden of England, onto the wide and gently undulating landscape of northern France, before reaching the lush green, vine-clad hills of Champagne and Burgundy. Riders finally reach the drier south, the Gorges du Verdon, and the welcoming sight of the azure Mediterranean. Our team will complete two 60km rides each per day.
We would so appreciate your support, but completely understand if you want to see the sweat on the teams brows first, so we'll be posting regular updates on LinkedIn during training and the race itself.
Thank you for your donation and keep an eye out for the team updates.
