Story
Taking on the Battersea Marathon for Cats Protection is deeply personal for me, and it's an opportunity that means more than just running a race. Cats Protection has been a beacon of hope and support in my life, especially when others couldn't see past the mistakes I made in the past. They offered me a second chance to not only right my wrongs but to grow into the person I’ve always wanted to be.
Working with Cats Protection has introduced me to the incredible bond that can form between humans and animals. The love I’ve developed for cats and kittens is immense, and it mirrors the same love and respect I have for the dedicated people working at Cats Protection. They’ve shown me what it means to be kind, caring, and supportive, and I want to give back to them and the animals they care for in a meaningful way.
Running this marathon is a way for me to help more cats find the loving homes they deserve while also supporting the amazing team at Cats Protection who do so much to make that possible. As a young and able person, I feel it’s my responsibility to use my energy and strength to tackle this challenge head-on. This marathon isn’t just about crossing the finish line; it’s about making a difference for the cats and the people who have made such a difference in my life.
