A major earthquake of magnitude 7.9 struck Turkey and North West Syria on 6th February 2023. At least 500 have been killed and hundreds injured.

Story

A devastating earthquake of 7.8 magnitude has struck southern Turkey and northern Syria, killing more than 30,000, leaving many injured and homeless and causing widespread destruction.
