Welcome to the TTA Jurassic Coast Challenge fundraising page!

Back in 2021, TTA took on the gruelling Three Peaks challenge to raise money for our charity partner Shine Cancer Support. We've decided, it's time to dust off our walking boots and put ourselves to the test once again and this time we are walking the Jurassic Coast.

This challenge will not be easy and will require the team to walk around 30 miles across the Jurassic Coast from Swanage to Weymouth. It's going to take around 14 hours non stop and will really put the team to the test- we hope the British weather is kind to us!

It all happens on Saturday 23rd September and training is well underway!

Our willing volunteers will be taking on the challenge to support Shine Cancer Support which is the only UK charity that supports adults in their 20s, 30s and 40s who have experienced a cancer diagnosis.

There’s never a good time for a cancer diagnosis, but in your 20s, 30s or 40s there are particular challenges to navigate, like work, dating, finances and more. Shine Cancer Support offers support to help with everything that a diagnosis brings, before, during and after treatment, and it provides a community of other people who understand.

The money raised from this challenge will help to support Shine Cancer Support to:

Connect – build a nationwide community of younger adults with cancer and the people around them, reducing isolation and supporting their physical and mental well-being.

Inform – ensure that younger adults with cancer have access to the knowledge and support they need to make the best decisions for them.

Reach – increase the profile and reach of Shine, aiming for every young adult diagnosed with cancer to have access to their services and support.
