Story

Thank you for visiting our page.

Lauren, Megan and myself (Trisha) are taking part in the London to Brighton Walk on May 25/26, this is a poignant weekend as it's Laila's first anniversary on the 27th.

Laila was an inspiration a true fighter dignified funny honest and beautiful who was first diagnosed at the age of 15 with osteosarcoma, after battling this disease and kicking its arse Laila closed her eyes on May 27th 2023.

In her memory we are pushing our boundaries and have chosen to raise funds for Sarcoma UK and St Luke's Hospice in Harrow where Laila and many dear friends and family have been treated.

We will be setting off from Richmond on the 25th May and walking 58km staying over night in Turners Hill, on Sunday 26th we set off with a spring in our step to complete the last part of the trek which is 42km.

Why are we doing this,,, all three of us have our own story and relationship to Laila, we decided to push ourselves outside our comfort zone in honor of our friend who did not have a choice for the journey she was taken on, our two days walking is nothing to the battle Laila and so many have fought and are fighting,, so its in their memory we are trekking 100km, this walk has more meaning as it falls on Lailas first anniversary.

We know things are tough on people but any donation big or small is greatly appreciated. Please share our page to family and friends and help us reach our goal.
