Story
Matilda and Tabitha will be picking up litter on Valentine’s Day to help local wildlife and raise money for Save the Children.
Two earthquakes have struck southern Turkey (now known as Türkiye), near the Syrian border. Reports say more than 15,000 people have been killed and thousands of families have been forced from their homes – exposing them to freezing winter temperatures and snowstorms. Rescuers are racing against time to reach children trapped under rubble. Save the Children are operating hand-in-hand with long-time partners across northwest Syria and Turkey. Together, they’re assessing what children and their families need, so they can deliver emergency relief. But they urgently need our help. We can help get families the food, warm blankets, winter clothes and shelter materials they need to survive. We can help set up safe spaces for women and children, and get psychological support to children so they can start to process their terrible experiences. Help get life-saving supplies to terrified children and families who’ve lost everything.
Thank you
