Story

Without access to sanitary items, many girls miss school once a month, having an enormous impact on their education and the adult literacy rate amongst women. Trinity are working to provide girls in Hope Secondary School with period pants which are sustainable options both environmentally and economically. WUKA period pants are underwear that girls can wear through their period, and as they are washable, they are completely sustainable, as once washed they can be used again for the next monthly cycle. In terms of the difference your money can make, just £45 will buy a pack of 5 period pants which, with washing at intervals, will accommodate a girl through her monthly cycle for the foreseeable future.
