Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike 2025
Fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support
Fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support
In July 2025, I have challenged myself to take on the Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike to help raise money for people like me living with cancer.
In April 2023 I had surgery to remove my ascending colon (bowel) along with other parts including 26 lymph nodes. The surgery seemed to have been successful until on Friday 13th September 2024 after tests I was told the cancer had spread and I now have stage four terminal cancer.
I was shocked and had to come to terms with the short timeframe given to me but with the help from my loving family, friends and MacMillan I have found strength.
My chemotherapy appears to be working well with a positive outcome. It is a tough road to be on for six months and I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a miracle.
I'd be so grateful if you could help me reach my £250 pledge, which can pay for Macmillan Nurse for one day. This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.
I hope that you, my friends and family can spare any amount you can to help me support MacMillan to support me and countless others by way of a contribution to this amazing cause.
There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.
I Thank you so very much x
